Advanced Fire Fighting Training Course

Introduction:

Fire safety within a building or installation must be managed to be effective. Therefore, fire safety management is concerned with the study of fire prevention, development, control, dynamics, decay, and how fire safety measures manage the effects of fire on people, the environment, and financial conditions. There is no turnkey solution. Each workplace is unique, requiring tailored fire safety management and fire risk assessments that go beyond mere theory to practical application.

This advanced fire fighting training course aims to enhance fire safety by collecting and submitting risk assessments. It prompts critical questions: In the event of a significant fire, do all individuals, including visitors and contractors, know what to do and where to go? Will they be able to initiate and execute available emergency procedures? The course delves into alerting, evacuation, emergency procedures, training, and exercises to address these questions.

Instructional methods include presentations, group discussions, workshops, quizzes, project work, relevant training DVDs, and case studies. This interactive experience strives to inspire and challenge participants, who will receive manual and course handouts. The advanced fire fighting training adheres to EU legislation, UK directives, GCC best practices, UK standards, and codes of practice from Health & Safety Executive publications.
